I've been a car guy all my life. This led me to start Godspeed Fabrication in 2008, but not before starting other non-car related businesses that never kept my interest. I would still spend my free time designing cars, reading about cars, modifying cars, and so on. In High school I won some awards for drafting. Through this Boeing ended up recruiting me for their drafting and design school. It was great training, but I found it very boring to sit at a desk every day. I needed to be able to build the things I was designing. The feeling of accomplishment when creating something is very fulfilling.

I'm often asked why I chose the company name Godspeed. Godspeed is an old blessing for a safe journey which is an imperative  criteria for any vehicle modification. It must be safe. The name also fit with my spiritual beliefs. Although I'm not a fan of organized religion, I believe in God and have a strong belief in right and wrong. Plus it has SPEED in the word. Win Win.
